If I were to ask you if you consider yourself powerful in this world, you would probably say “no”. Often, we see powerful people as wealthy people, prestigious people, people of high positions, or popular people.
But the Word of God says otherwise. God says that we are highly powerful. He even said that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, lives inside of us! Now that’s power!
One of the ways God’s power is revealed is in the ability He has given us to influence others. And that can be negatively or positively.
Proverbs 3:27 says,
“Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them.” The wisdom of Solomon said to never withhold good from those who deserve it when you have the Power to do so. It is a command of God that He intends for us to obey.
We are truly a blessed people. Most of us have food in our bellies, a roof over our head, and clothes on our backs. Most of us have more than we need. If this is you, YOU have POWER! You have the means to help someone else out!
God asked Moses, “What’s in your hand?” While Moses saw a simple staff, God used that staff to do powerful things. The simplistic thing you have, God will use, when surrendered to Him.
God will use the simplest thing you have when it is surrendered to Him.
So, what’s in your hand?
You have the power to help someone else with it. So use it, and watch how God will bless you and the person you give it to.
